Job Title AVP- Business Finance Consumer Banking and Products


Job DescriptionJOB PURPOSE: – Support Business As Usual (BAU) activities and shaping the overall landscape to enhance efficiencies and enable value add analytics for Consumer Banking and Products.- To interact with, discuss and influence business outcomes with senior business personnel, the role will need to understand in relative depth, products and market contexts of the businesses to influence and manage the rollout of the Consumer Banking and Products Strategy- Support projects and assist in MI Development and Reporting EnhancementsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Finance Business PartneringAssist in Finance Business partnering for FAB Cards and other products.Assist In following up action points from various business management forums.Assist in providing value adding views and insights for business.AdvisoryAssist in identify key risks, particularly financial and coordinate to have appropriate risk mitigation plans in place. Assist in ensuring that risks are incorporated into the business planning and strategy phases.Analysing FTP data in coordination with business and treasury.Planning / MI ReportingSupport preparation of Consumer Banking and Product budget.Assist in regular performance reviews with the Product Heads on performance gaps. Monitor performance and aid strategicFinance Risk controlAssist in assessing and ensuring transparency in the financial performance of the business divisionsnternal audits, ensure that all audit findings are successfully closed with recommendations implemented.Ensure that all internal processes and infrastructures are robust and effective taking into consideration effective risk management and controls.Job Context . Support FAB CB UAE and Products strategies and initiatives. Successful delivery of KPIs. Adherence to financial budgets. Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and controls, required for governance.FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY: Responsibilities:Regular coordination with relevant stakeholders on the progress of the initiatives for all entities, functions, and countries.- Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.- Authorised to take decisions as per the approved authorisation matrix.
